By Magalí Rabasa On the afternoon of January 6, 2006 in the Frente Cívico Tonalteco Auditorium in Tonalá, Chiapas, Subcomandante Insurgente Marcos suddenly stepped away from the stage for a few moments. He returned with news that Comandanta Ramona of the Zapatista Army for National Liberation (EZLN), died earlier in the day at the age of 47.
